Beta
Let Us Lead By Serving Others
The Bullion Primary Junior Beta Club is a chapter of the National Junior Beta Club. It is an honor club for 5th grade students who have been chosen because they have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, and exemplified a worthy character.
The National Beta Club, as well as our chapter, recognizes high academic achievement, promotes character and social responsibility, encourages service involvement to school and community, fosters leadership skills, and provides settings for students to develop interpersonal relationship skills.
Members are encouraged to be active in service around the community, as well as actively serve together around campus. All Beta members must Maintain a 3.5 grade point average in core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies) as well as maintain a conduct grade of an “A” each nine weeks.
Our Beta club also participates in state convention each year, where students are given the opportunity to strengthen their academic and leadership skills, showcase their talents and artistic abilities, and interact with Junior Betas from all over Louisiana.

The Bullion Primary School 4-H Club is a youth organization available to fourth and fifth grade students. The goal of 4-H is to develop citizenship, communication skills, life skills, and leadership through a positive approach.
Our club meets during school hours on the second Thursday of every month. Club members will receive an educational program and a 4-H newsletter which features upcoming parish wide 4-H contests, events, and activities.
Robotics
The Bullion Primary Robotics Club is a robotics program for 5th grade students and is designed to get children excited about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while teaching them valuable employment and life skills. Students will build and program an autonomous robot using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® technology. Throughout the year, students will explore a problem that today’s scientists and engineers are trying to solve, develop an innovative solution to that problem, and share their findings with others. Throughout their work, teams are guided by the FLL (First LEGO® League) Core Values to build teamwork skills and make this a great experience for everyone involved.
We follow the FLL core values which are:
- We are a team.
- We do the work to find solutions and guidance from our coaches and mentors.
- We know our coaches and mentors don’t have all the answers; we learn together.
- We honor the spirit of friendly competition.
- What we discover is more important than what we win.
- We share our experiences with others.
- We display Gracious Professionalism® and Coopertition® in everything we do.
- We have fun!
Drama Club
The Drama Club at Bullion Primary is an after-school activity that takes part in a mid-year talent show and a Spring theatrical production. The club aims to build confidence, encourage teamwork, and nurture creativity among its members. Students learn various aspects of theater, including stage direction, prop management, and improvisation. They work together to adapt a story into a script and then get the chance to perform it.
To join, students need to fill out a Google Form application and attend an audition where they will perform a given monologue or an alternative performance with approval from the club sponsors. Membership is limited and selective.
Students are expected to maintain good behavior, and those who fail to meet expectations may lose their membership. Additionally, those whose conduct causes them to miss the quarterly PBIS bash will automatically lose membership in the club. Drama students also need to maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.
